The Masseria Altemura estate is located in the heart of Salento, halfway between the Ionian and Adriatic Seas. The winery boasts a unique terroir, thanks to the extraordinary light, the fresh perennial breezes from the two seas and the land, characterized by predominantly white limestone rocks and the red soil of Salento. The estate is located in the Primitivo di Manduria DOC appellation, in the countryside of Santa Susanna, and consists of an ancient 16th-century farmhouse (Masseria), a winery designed according to the principles of green architecture and the wonderful vineyards that surround it.
