San Vito Drinks in Bordeaux
15.12.2025
In December, San Vito Drinks organized a professional wine trip to Bordeaux for its partners as part of an ongoing educational initiative focused on deepening wine expertise. The heart of the journey was Bordeaux and Château Magnol — a classic Bordeaux estate belonging to the Barton & Guestier group. The visit offered direct exposure to the region’s philosophy, style, and winemaking traditions.
Participants did more than visit the winery — they lived and studied at the château, fully immersing themselves in the rhythm of traditional French winemaking. The program featured an intensive Food & Wine Pairing Academy led by Yann Orbegin, Chef de Cuisine, and Omar Barbosa, Best Sommelier of Bordeaux 2023. Key topics included: the art of blending; French wine classifications; Bordeaux wine classifications; high-level food and wine pairing.
The trip reflected San Vito Drinks’ core value — Passion. We are deeply committed to understanding the wines we represent: how they are made, where they come from, and the craftsmanship behind every bottle. This passion allows us to speak about wine with confidence, expertise, and authenticity. The educational program concluded with a formal certification ceremony. Participants received personalized certificates confirming their professional training at Château Magnol — a meaningful milestone in their ongoing development within the wine industry.
